Lynnae Lehfeldt

Associate Professor of Voice and Movement
Lynnae Lehfeldt is the associate professor of voice and movement for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She received her BA in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas and her MFA from Wayne State University's Hilberry program. She has the distinction of being the only Designated Teacher of Linklater Voice in the state of Michigan. Additionally, she has trained with the SITI Company (Saratoga International Theatre Institute), LIMS (Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, and GLMCC (Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium). She studied Iyengar Yoga at CYS (Center for Yoga Seattle) where she completed her 200 hr yoga teacher-training course. She has vocal/dialect coached for Meadow Brook Theatre (LORT), the Jewish Ensemble Theatre, Michigan Shakespeare Festival, Performance Network, Water Works Shakespeare Festival, Matrix Theatre, the Purple Rose Theatre, Kickshaw Theatre and Theatre Nova.
