Carol Dusdieker

Director of the School of Music and Theatre, Associate Professor of Voice
Carol Dusdieker, Soprano is the Director of the School of Music and Theatre and Associate Professor of Voice at Heidelberg University. Carol brings an diverse background to Heidelberg having performed Opera, Oratorio, American Songbook favorites and Golden Age Broadway classics with ensembles such as Opera Cleveland, Des Moines Metro Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera, Arbor Opera Theatre, Toledo Symphony, New Havens Symphony, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Windsor Chamber Orchestra, Iowa Chamber Orchestra, and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, frequently taking students to conferences, adjudicating vocal competitions and offering master classes and recitals throughout the US and Europe. At Heidelberg, Carol works closely with the musical theatre students, teaching applied voice, American Musical Theatre and arranging the yearly Vocal Arts Concert Series.
