Andy Bleiler is a passionate Arts Educator, whose career has spanned over thirty years as a teacher, designer, technician, director, and performer. He has served as Scenic Designer for Lipscomb University, Vanderbilt Opera Theatre, Blackbird Theatre Co, and Street Theatre Co. His work has received critical acclaim in The Tennessean, Broadway World, The Nashville Scene, and The Nashville Examiner, and he has received several KCACTF Meritorious Achievement Awards for Excellence In Design. He has Adjudicated the scenic poster session for USITT, has been a guest speaker for the Tennessee Arts Academy, and is a licensed K-12 Art and Theatre teacher. Currently, he serves as Assistant Professor of Theatre, Theatrical Designer and Production Manager at Lipscomb University. Andy earned his BFA from Drake University, his MA from Concordia University, and his MFA from The University of Memphis.
