Attendees will learn how to begin to write about really anything, and become familiar with the early messy stages of creativity that allow them to make sense of virtually any subject matter. Of his 11 commissions, most were unlikely plays. He made the story of a suicidal poet into the state play of Georgia. He wrote about Andersonville Prison and won a fellowship. This workshop finds art in the impossible.
